This season, the Executive Committee put a vote to the membership body for changes to the membership structure. The Executive Committee, we have proposed a Co Chair position, recognising the role now required of Chairman is an expansive one, and for the club to progress and develop over the coming seasons, the responsibilities need to now be split and shared to ensure the club is managed effectively into the future, we are bringing a new Secretary on board: Tom Barnard, Tom is a lawyer by trade, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in Commercial Litigation to the Exec table. With Tom's arrival we also acknowledge the hard work, time and effort of Tom Ramirez, who steps into a IT management role for the club.
These votes were cross referenced with the membership database to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote is counted.

A Message from The Chairs - James & Dean
We would like to thank everyone for attending the AGM and those who took the time to put in their vote. As we move into the start of the season (a little later than expected) we are both looking forward to coming and watching the fantastic rugby from all of our sections of the club.
A few exciting things coming up at the club, we have a new membership system, which we are hoping you will find a lot more user friendly than before, we have released a sub-brand of fashion merchandise in our online store to help raise funds for the club. Behind the scenes we are working closely with treasurer Jason to progress the club towards charity status, giving us some much needed tax relief.
Graeme has been battleing the heatwave the last few months, and put in a tremendous amount of work to save the pitches turning in to sand dunes! He's also been training our two brand new robot mowers, given to us as part of a sponsorship agreement.
Abi, since being made a VP at the AGM in recognition of her incredible dedication to Hove RFC as Womens Section Representative and Head of Sponsorship, she has been in charge of thousands of pounds worth of commitment from local and international companies.
We have already held a hugely successful fix it day, with a great turn out from the mens section, juniors and parents joining us for digging, window cleaning, jet washing, scrubbing and sweeping. You might notice some landscaping changes towards the club entrance, changes that won't be alone this year, as we start turning our attention towards making the clubhouse a more comfortable and welcoming environment for parents and our community to relax in.
