Hove Vixens (Women’s Vets) vs Crowborough What a game! A cracker as always against Crowborough. Wild weather conditions couldn’t dampen the spirit or effort from either side. Despite a 4–0 early deficit, the Hove Vixens staged an incredible comeback effort in wild and windy/rainy conditions. The final scoreline of 5–4 to Crowborough reflects the spirit, determination, and improvement shown by the Vixens throughout the match. Crowborough came out strong, running in four tries.

The women's 1st XV marched out with 22 and two NPR's on home ground to face middle of the league team, Medway. The whistle blew, kicking off the game, as Medway slowly rumbled towards Hove.. playing the first 15 minutes in the majority of Hove territory, as Hove were shy on the defence, allowing Medway to gather up trundling speed.
