A tough day at the office with several regulars unavailable, but we pulled a squad together and travelled to Old Reigatian ready for the challenge. The warm-up was slow, but we grew into it with good intensity and focus. The game started scrappily, with both sides making poor decisions and throwing a few wayward passes. Hove Purples 7 - Jersey 20 On Sunday 1 February, Hove U15s fielded 52 players and 3 teams in what turned out to be 3 impressive performances. First up our newly formed Purples side played an enjoyable and hard fought match against a powerful side from Jersey who play their fixtures in the top Sussex league.
