Last season (2024 – 2025) was one of the most successful in the history of Hove RFC U15 Boys. The Hawks (A Team) completed an undefeated league campaign with a 100% record with bonus-point wins and secured the Sussex Cup to claim the county double.

They also became the first Sussex boys’ team ever to compete in the top tier of the Harlequins League and knock out Cup, finishing third overall with landmark wins against Barnes, Sutton & Epsom, London Irish and Wimbledon.
The squad closed the season with a dominant performance at the Surrey 7s, where the Hawks were crowned champions and the Harriers (B Team) — the only legitimate B team in the competition — finished an outstanding third, including a memorable win over London Welsh.

The Harriers finished joint second in Sussex League 2 and delivered one of the most impressive campaigns seen from a second XV against other clubs A teams. With big wins over major clubs and strong showings in tournaments, they proved again and again that they could not only compete with, but outplay, A teams across the region.
They also contributed heavily to the Hawks’ success — with many players stepping up to support key matches, including in the competitive Harlequins League & Cup. The depth and flexibility of the wider squad has been a defining strength of the season.

As the age group now move into the U16’s for 2025 - 2026, the Hawks will leave Sussex to compete in Surrey league pre-Christmas and the Harlequins League and Cup post-Christmas, the highest standard of rugby in the South, the Harriers will remain in the Sussex leagues and also compete in one of the tiers in the Harlequins league and cup post-Christmas
