Hello members,
It's hard to believe we're already in December. This means we're nearly halfway through the season, which continues to be a great one, full of successes on and off the pitch.
As you'll see from this month's newsletter, we still have a bumper month of activity. There's multiple exciting fixtures, club lunches, a visit from Father Christmas, our Christmas Quiz and all finished off with the famous Hangover Trophy (I know that's technically Jan but even the brilliant Sadie, on comms, is unlikely to get a newsletter out on 1st Jan).
The HOT has games across multiple sections, minis, youth, seniors and vets so if you're keen to start the year doing what you love (rugby), please get in touch with your coach.

I know November saw a couple of training cancellations due to weather. This is always a really difficult decision and one we don't take lightly. Thanks to these decisions (and Graeme's grand plans of course) our pitches are in the best shape they've been, at this time of year, for as long as I can remember.
We're also encouraging coaches in all sections to have wet weather plans. There's always creative alternatives that can be put on during the rare occasions of pitch use being cancelled, as long as done so safely.
Dean, the Exec Committee and I will be attending multiple games and events throughout December so we hope to see many of you there, but we'll take this opportunity to wish you all a fantastic Christmas and New Year and we look forward to great things at The Club in 2026.g rugby, and events at Hove.
