Womens Vets Section:
Anna Kiukas-Pedersen
After being away for a while, Anna is back with us, and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve truly missed her passion, her energy, and that unmistakable Finnish spirit she brings to the team. She keeps us all on our toes… especially when a few expletives in Finnish make an appearance!
Womens Section:
Millie
Millie has made astounding progression in her game and skills this season, and has been a standout player this month for her dominant tackeling, seemingly everywhere on the pitch at one time, and her excellent attacking lines, very much deserved, well done Millie.
🏆 Club Winner : Mens Section : Dan Shotton 🏆
Dan Shotton
Dan has been leading from the front and going above and beyond behind the scenes to help his teammates

Lucia D
Tremendous performance in final 16 of national comp. Strong running, ferocious tackling, and tremendous leadership.
Colts Section:
Will R
Has trained superbly, very consistent in multiple positions which has now cemented his place in the colts starting line-up this weekend. A must win game against Worthing. Well done Will!
U16 Boys Section:
Josh C
Josh has been amazing for the Harriers, standing out for his overall performance and leadership especially during a statement win in the QUINS Cup away to a very strong Old Reigations side well done Josh you have been brilliant
U16 Girls Section:
Iris H
Iris always shows 100% determination and commitment at training and in games. Impressive as a natural try scorer with a number of scores under her belt she also always shows remarkable resilience, in our most recent game after a knock returning to the pitch in some discomfort and helping her team secure an important semi-final win.
U15 Boys Section:
Herbie E
Herbie is a tenacious and player whose commitment to the game belies his size. He is a ferocious tackler but his all round game is improving rapidly which is a testament to his commitment and his training, and his attitude has been recognised by all the coaches.
U14 Boys Section:
Lucian H-D & Noah K
This month the coaching team found it genuinely difficult to separate two players who have both shown outstanding commitment and attitude since joining the club this season. Because of that, we’ve decided to award Player of the Month to both Lucian and Noah Knapp. From the moment they first came down to training, both boys have fully embraced everything that rugby is about. Their enthusiasm for the game, willingness to learn and positive attitude have stood out week after week. It’s actually quite hard to believe they have only just started with us, as they already look completely at home within the team and the club.
Both Lucian and Noah listen carefully during training, take on feedback, and apply it straight away. They are always fully engaged in the sessions, work hard in every drill, and approach each week with a great mindset to improve. That level of focus and commitment is exactly what we want to see from our players. Just as importantly, they are polite, respectful and a pleasure to coach. They show great respect to their teammates and coaches, and they represent the values of the club extremely well. The coaching team are incredibly proud of the effort both boys have shown so far. Their attitude and dedication set a brilliant example, and this recognition is very well deserved. Well done Lucian and Noah — keep up the great work.
U14 Girls Section:
Deena L-R
Deena has had an outstanding month despite challenging weather conditions. From her powerful ball-carrying runs to her increasingly effective “shoulder in” tackling technique, Deena is clearly putting in the hard work needed to turn her obvious potential into reality. Throughout this month’s training sessions, she has maintained impressive focus and determination — even when battling wind and rain, often squinting through the elements! A fantastic effort, Deena — well done!
U12 Girls Section:
Poppy L
Poppy has really applied her self in training over the past month. This has come about after watching from the sidelines during one game and getting a better perspective of how the game flows and talking through the action with her coaches. She used this insight when she came on as a sub and managed to adapt her game to make an impact. This has also helped improve training performance and bring ideas and drills to life in our next match. Its been great to see her focus on the key aspects of the game and how she makes a difference at decisive moments, building better game management awareness and supporting her team mates.
U12 Boys Section:
Preston B
Preston has the heart of a lion. He's one of the smallest players in our squad but his big defence and darting runs from scrum half have been exceptional this season. He was a stand out player in the recent 30-0 win v Bognor.
U11 Section:
Florence D
Florence delivered standout performances at Brighton’s Under The Lights festival, blending powerful carries with solid tackling and excellent support play. She followed that up with another impressive display in the home fixtures against Worthing. Outstanding work, Flo!
U10 Section:
Ian
Ian is committed to rugby, he's always very keen, shown by his rugby and he inspires others
U9 Section:
James L
Finn has gone under the radar for far too long! He has been with us since the start and is Mr Consistent. His constant performances at training and festivals have been constantly discussed by all the coaches and the level of enthusiasm he puts in is awesome. Over the past 4 weeks he has progressed massively with his tackling and understanding of keeping the defensive line, his willingness to learn and listen makes us coaches proud. He is an absolute pleasure to see on a Sunday morning and we hope Hove RFC continues to see it for years to come.
U7 Section:
Erin H
Our Player of the Month is Erin, who has shown exceptional growth this season. Her evolving tactical awareness allows her to read the game beautifully, consistently finding space to make clinical runs and score vital tries. Beyond her individual skill, Erin’s support work in attack and defence makes her an invaluable teammate. We as coaches look forward to seeing this development in the up coming festivals.
U5/6 Section:
Oliver W
This month’s Under 5 and 6 award goes a little further than just the last few weeks. It recognises consistent effort, commitment and development across the whole season. The progress within the Under 5s group has been fantastic to see, and one player who has really stood out over recent months is Oliver. He brings a brilliant attitude to every session, listens carefully, stays fully engaged with the coaches and continues to develop his skills week on week. A very well deserved recognition for hard work and growth throughout the season
