🏆 WINNER! Womens Section: Beth Tetlow 🏆
Beth
A crucial player whenever she steps on the pitch. A big ball carriers and excellent defender. Beth always comes up with a big moment right when the team needs it. She is incredibly dedicated to her team and her club, helping guide newer players while developing her own rugby. Beth embodies everything that rugby, and Hove is about, we are profoundly proud to have her on the team.

Carrying out his role for the squad at a high standard. Fully committed to the bigger picture 💪🏼
Colts Section:
Conn O”Flynn
For his performance thus far this season
U18 Girls Section:
Niamh K
Has attended and worked hard at all training sessions. Two fantastic matches on the wing - tackling hard and beating multiple players. Really impressive performances!
U16 Boys Section:
Harry MR
Harry has been a tower of strength at 2nd row and Flanker in the final Surrey league matches and a marquee match against one of the best teams in Wales Pontyclun. Harry is a true team player always at training and a joy to coach. Well done Harry you have been fantastic 👏
U16 Girls Section:
Maddie S
Maddie has turned in for every training session and always given 100% at every game. Tackles and carries hard and just has a really fantastic attitude towards training and playing.
U15 Boys Section:
Matanios A
The winner this month for U15s is Matanios. Matanios is a player that has set such high standards that his contribution can easily be overlooked. However in recent weeks his work rate in defence and strength of ball carrier in attack have been essential to the success of the U15s Blues side. With this he is a selfless hard worker and sets a fine example in sportsmanship. Congrats to Matanios.
U14 Boys Section:
Jonny V
All we ever look for is that players enjoy their rugby, focus in training and play to the best of their ability. Johnny is a role model for all three. He is always switched on in training and regularly asks the coaches what he can do to improve. Because of this attitude he has become a fierce tackler, a powerful runner and a leader who can influence a game. The under 14s coaches are very proud of him.
U14 Girls Section:
Mae C
Mae has shown fantastic commitment this Training Block. She’s really taken coaching guidance on board, and her distribution from the base of the ruck is becoming outstanding. Her reading of the game is now a key strength, helping her make smart decisions under pressure. On top of that, her tackle count each game is pushing the flankers hard, showing her work rate and determination. A well-deserved recognition—congratulations, Mae!
U13 Boys Section:
Oliver H
New joiner this season and has been a real boost for the team. Absolutely gives his all whether playing for Reds or Blues. Tough as nails and a nightmare for the opposition at breakdown time. A great November all round.
U12 Boys Section:
Max T
Max has been exceptional so far this season. He is a big game player who makes big tackles and powerful runs that terrify opponents. He puts Hove on the front foot when it is needed most. Not only that, but he is incredibly supportive of his team mates and works very hard to keep improving his game.
U12 Girls Section:
Nia
Nia has really shone the lst few weeks. Taking on all the coaching she has been given and putting it into the games we have played. She has become a beast in the tackle, making many try saving tackles in our matches this month. She has become our silent assassin covering open space to make last ditch dominant tackles. A really example of hard work and putting training in to practice during matches. These performances also earned her players player in one match this month. Great to see the progress made
U11 Section:
Reeva
Reeva turns up to every session with a smile on her face and ready to learn. Reeva is a fierce tackler and is also developing nicely in her chosen position of fly half. Well done Reeva!
U10 Section:
Hudson
Hudson joined us in the under 9’s from Australia and has been one of stronger players. He’s been superb at festivals and really helped the team against some strong teams. Well done
U8 Section:
Rory
This is Rory's second season with our squad. He's been working hard, listening to his coaches, and applying what he learns in training and festivals. He's showing real promise of becoming a great player. He isn't the biggest or loudest player, but he always plays with a smile on his face - which is great to see. Well done, Rory, on being recognised among the wider squad, who are all starting to shine in their own ways.
U7 Section:
Anna
Anna is our nomination for player of the month because she brings incredible speed, relentless focus, and a brilliant attitude to every match. She supports her team mates, bounces back quickly after taking a knock, and always gives her all right to the whistle. She’s a pleasure to coach - fun, dedicated and full of energy. And her impressive try-scoring steak at recent festivals shows how much impact she has on the pitch.
U5/6 Section:
Ivar
Ivar has been brilliant recently, really engaged, always present, and full of enthusiasm. He’s been focusing well, listening carefully, and putting real effort into doing every activity properly.
