Mens Vets Section:

Josh P

Josh does a huge amount for the vets team, and we want to put him forward this month as a team to thank him and congratulate him on the birth of his new baby.

Womens Section:

Vanessa P

An unsung hero of the women, Vanessa is always at training week in week out, she is one of our most consistently excellent players, putting in huge shifts for the team, her dedication on and off the pitch is exemplary

Mens Section :

Rob W

For playing many different positions, bringing massive energy to the team

Colts Section:

Malakai A

He scored 4 tries on his debut for Hove!

U18 Girls Section:

Kimberley M

Fantastic multi-try performance at the weekend, and consistent hard worker at training

U16 Boys Section:

Josh C

Josh has been a standout for the Harriers this month leading the line and defence with some great performances including an away victory in the first league game

U16 Girls Section:

Maisie D

100% on defence, running hard lines never gives up playing new position as 9

U15 Boys Section:

Jez J

Jez is a new player to the squad this season but has immediately impressed the coaches and his fellow players with his work rate, his desire to play for the enjoyment of the game (as well as to win), his level of maturity and politeness and his willingness to learn. He is a hard worker during games, sets the example to the forwards, and from day one has shown up with all the right attitude that we hope for in a Hove Player. Congratulations to Jez.

🏆 WINNER! U14 Boys Section: Adem M-F 🏆

Adem's engagement and effort in training means he is realising his potential. He's one of the fittest amongst the squad and is dominant at the breakdown and pod formation in attack. Well done Adem for showing what can be achieved with the right mindset.

U14 Girls Section:

Elsie H

"Nought to Front Row in 60 Days!” Brand new to rugby, Elsie joined the club in September and made her league debut just last Sunday — and what a debut it was! Her bravery, willingness to learn, and positive attitude have stood out from day one. She listens, she smiles, and she throws herself into every challenge with enthusiasm. Elsie is a little pot of inspiration for any girl thinking about trying a new sport. It was a unanimous decision from all the coaches — we can’t wait to see how far she’ll go in the next 60 days!

U13 Boys Section:

Kyle M

A fantastic member of the U13 boys. One of the bravest tacklers in the squad. Made his deserved debut for the Blues this month, and always a pleasure to coach.

U12 Boys Section:

Arthur B

u12 boys player of the month is Arthur for his brilliant leadership and hard work. He is consistently brilliant every week with his passing, running, tackling and desire to keep getting better. He can also run a very impressive park run time! On top of all of this he works hard for his teammates.

U12 Girls Section:

Cordeila J

There have been a lot of new girls join the u12s this year and they have all come in and done really well and shown great togetherness and team spirit in such a short space of time. Cordeila stands out in this group, having joined from another club. She has settled in really well with her new team mates. She also shows a great attitude in training, and played really well in her first match for Hove, like she had been playing with this group for longer than a few weeks. Its never easy joining a new club, but Cordeila has definitely found her new tribe!

U11 Section:

Lucas C

Lucas joined us as a new player this year and put in a number of fantastic performances during festival season. A strong ball carrier and a fierce tackler, he was a huge asset to all the teams he played with and a huge problem for anyone who was facing him. Great stuff Lucas!

U10 Section:

Jonah V

We have had a few festivals this month and Jonah has really come into his own. He’s really committed and really stood out for Hove. Even at training he’s 100% in - even with a few bumps, you’d think it would set him back but he’s back up and getting involved

U9 Section:

Ernie

Ernie has really taken to tackling, is a key player in any team and is all about TREDS. Ernie has been great and very consistant, with some great passing and was outstanding at our recent trip to the festival at Crawley.

U8 Section:

Etta S

Etta has only joined us at the start of the season. She has embraced the team spirit, has the right attitude and is trying hard to learn something new each week to be a better Etta.

U7 Section:

Bill C

Bill has come to every training session and festival with a real positive attitude, even when he has a try disallowed for being tagged and not noticing. Bill consistently works with his teammates and works hard to get those tags, passes, and trys.

U5/6 Section:

Hugo R-P

Despite his young age, Hugo is already showing signs of being a talented rugby player. More than that though, his attitude is second to none. He always listens to his coaches and approaches each and every activity full of enthusiasm. Hugo is also developing into a fantastic teammate - as happy to set up another with a well timed pass as score a try himself - and he quietly makes sure others on his team are involved and supported during drills. An absolute pleasure to coach.
