U13 Boys bring the win for Hove!

Getting their 2025/26 season underway, Hove hosted Hammersmith and Fulham at the Rec, a game pitting Hove fly half and captain for the day Charlie against his former club. Hammers were playing against Hove for the first time and after a competitive and enjoyable fixture the aim will be to arrange a return fixture up in London later in the season with the aim of it becoming a regular occurrence.

With Hammers bringing 24 players down to the South coast and Hove having a matchday squad of 33, the match was played over 3 x 25 minute sessions to ensure all players had game time. Hove were looking to shake off the early season cobwebs and implement the new pod based playing structure that they have worked on during the close season. In a closely contested fixture, Hove ran out eventual winners running in 8 tries to the Hammers 4.

Notable contributions were made by co-men of the match Enzo who ran in four of the Hove scores and Kyle for his impressive defensive contribution and kick returns.
