October News from Chair James Finlason

To start with, we are WORLD CHAMPIONS once again!!

What a fantastic tournament for the Red Roses, well deserved winners. I'm hoping they inspire a new generation of rugby players that we can nurture at that club.

More locally we've had a great start to the season; wins for both our senior first teams and some huge results across our youth sections. Thanks to all the minis' players that created a guard of honour, waving their Hove flags for the senior teams to run out to.

You may have seen some transformation in the bar area. The lick of paint is just for starters. We're having more of a refit later in the month, with a new selection of drinks available which we hope will improve our members' experience. The refit will be during the week (mid-late October) so we're hoping for minimal disruption but bear with us if there are any minor impacts. We're still looking for a sponsor for the bar, if this is of interest then please contact sponsorship@hoverugbyclub.co.uk for more details.

As we welcome the minis back to competitive rugby, I wish you an enjoyable October. Dean, the rest of the exec and I are trying to get to as many games as possible so please do come and say hello and don't be afraid to ask anything of us.
