Player of the Month – New Club Competition

We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Player of the Month competition here at the club! This is a great way to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and team spirit shown by our players across all age groups.

How it works

Each month, our coaches will select standout players from their teams. These nominations aren’t just about who scores the most tries or makes the biggest tackles – they also recognise players who show commitment, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude both on and off the pitch.

All of the nominated players will then be entered into a monthly draw. From there, one lucky winner will be drawn at random from the hat and crowned our official Player of the Month.

The prize 🏆🍝

Thanks to our friends at Al Duomo, Brighton’s much-loved Italian restaurant, the winner will receive a meal for two worth up to £80. It’s the perfect way to celebrate, whether that’s with family, friends, or teammates after a big match!

Why we’re doing this

Our club is built on more than just results – it’s about teamwork, effort, and building a supportive rugby community. The Player of the Month award is a chance to recognise those values and highlight the contributions of players who might not always grab the headlines but make a huge difference every week.
