September Chair - James Finlason

I'm delighted to be able to introduce the first newsletter of the new season. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters for their ongoing efforts. It’s been a hugely busy off season with so much going on at the club, but now we put all that hard work into rugby playing action.

What a season it’s going to be with the Women’s World Cup kicking off last month and some really exciting games coming up at the Amex.

The Red Roses play Australia’s Wallaroos on 6th Sept at 5pm and the NZ Black Ferns vs Ireland is on 7th Sept at 2.45pm. If you’ve not managed to secure tickets then don’t forget you can watch those games at the club, come and join us.

Before all the World Cup excitement comes to the city, we have a very special celebration, with the 35th anniversary of our women’s section on 30th August. There is a host of festivities so keep a look out on our brilliant new website and on the socials for full detail of the day

On the 31st Aug we welcome back our minis and youth sections, and senior rugby kicks off with the eagerly awaited return of our men’s first team who play KCS Old Boys (away) on 6th Sept.
