U14 Boys Hove Hornets vs Pullborough (5-51)

Despite the 5-51 scoreline, the match was a closer contest than the end result suggests. It was very much a game of two haves, with Hove mounting sustained pressure in the first half and competing strongly in all areas.

However, we were unable to capitalise on this and went into halftime trailing by 3 tries. A lapse in concentration and a number of unforced errors in the second half saw Pullborough extend their lead, with Hove only responding with one try by Alfie Browne - a breakaway try from the halfway line. Not the result we were after but we move onto our next league game against Eastbourne in a couple of weeks.
